SINOPSIS: Se centra en la vida de Charles Schine, un creativo a quien no le gustan los sobresaltos, pero todo se convertirá en una pesadilla cuando pierda el tren que siempre coge para ir a su despacho en Manhattan. Los hechos, entonces, se sucederán uno tras otro: en el siguiente tren conocerá accidentalmente a mujer, Lucinda, y pronto congeniarán; aquella tarde saldrán y terminarán en la habitación de un hotel; allí serán asaltados por un delincuente y robados. Siendo los dos personas casadas, no se atreverán a denunciar los hechos, y aquí empezará su mutuo descenso al infierno cuando el delincuente comience a chantajearles y deban encontrar la manera de solucionar la situación por el método que sea.
