Son premios de editores, es normal que ellos valoren el trabajo. Otra cosa es que la Academia lo haga (deberían).

De los nominados, tanto el de Whiplash como el de Boyhood me parecen sublimes. Pero normalmente en los premios se suelen votar a los montajes más picados, cómo si un montaje con más planos por segundo fuera mejor que una película con 5 planos secuencia, cuando la realidad es todo lo contrario (como es el caso en España, que siempre gana la película de acción de turno).

Estoy de acuerdo contigo Sulli, Boyhood y Whiplash tienen los mejores montajes. Los Eddie ACE destacan por valorar mucho más el montaje que el conjunto de cambios rápidos en una secuencia. Echale un vistazo al palmarés de los últimos años para ver que eligen ediciones altamente interesantes.

En los premios Goya pasa que todos los votantes votan a todas las categorias. Es por esta razón que se acaba eligiendo el montaje más picado (por tener más presencia) o se escoge la banda sonora con la melodía más bonita. Esto demuestra que existe una tremenda incultura para valorar qué es un buen montaje, una buena banda sonora o un excelente sonido pero que todos sabemos lo que es una buena fotografía.

Las nominaciones de la International Cinephile Society me encantan, muy variadas y con la presencia de algunas películas ignoradas en los Oscar. Me gusta ver por ahí a Mommy, Under the Skin, Adiós al lenguaje, etc.

Los Annie dejan bastante claro quien se va a llevar el Oscar en la categoría de animación, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta que su mayor rival no está entre las películas nominadas.

Las nominaciones de la International Cinephile Society me encantan, muy variadas y con la presencia de algunas películas ignoradas en los Oscar. Me gusta ver por ahí a Mommy, Under the Skin, Adiós al lenguaje, etc.

Bueno, a mí precisamente Mommy me parece lo más flojo de entre las nominadas a las categorías grandes. Luego, no soporto el personaje de Tilda Swinton en Snowpiercer. Pero por lo demás, como viene siendo habitual estos últimos años, las nominaciones son bastante buenas y relativamente eclécticas. Pero es lo lógico dada la diversidad geográfica de los votantes.
